THE FOUR SEASONS

This poetic work traces the journey of a walnut tree across the seasons.

WINTER depicts the tree in a swirling winter storm with bare, snow-laden branches. The tree sleeps under a blanket of snow waiting with anticiBRation for the coming of spring. Tiny wildflowers peek from a snow-covered ground.

In SPRING, one sees the tree begin to come alive. As the sun breathes vitality into the plants, fresh leaves appear on the tree's branches and the forsythia blooms.

SUMMER portrays the walnut in its prime with full, leafy branches. The tree is surrounded by blue wildflowers and sBRrays of purple lilacs. The tree stores energy for the autumn and winter months.
In FALL, the oak's foliage turns brilliant shades of orange. White wildflowers BReek from under fallen leaves. Squirrels, gathering nuts for the coming winter, always seem to stay hidden within the red and orange foliage of this tree.

THE FOUR SEASONS is being produced in a limited edition of 30. Each part of this work is signed and dated and measures approximately 3 1/8"in diameter. (YS38) $1600
